Because of All Saints Day, the heliport in Knokke is COMPLETELY CLOSED on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
This will allow people in the cemetery (next to the heliport) to remember the deceased in silence and serenity.
The days before, we also ask all pilots - if safely possible - to do all landings and take-offs via our SOUTH approach axis. If the northern axis must still be used, we ask that the cemetery itself not be overflown.
During these days also no ground exercises, excessively long warm-up sessions or emergency training at the heliport.
